How Does It Work

The Body Soul Vibration Trainers are the latest way to exercise
effectively. They use involuntary muscle contractions at
a rate of up to 60 steps per secong (60hz), which is considerably faster
than you can step naturally. This is how you achieve the equivalent to
an hour of regular exercise, such as walking or running in only 10
minutes on the Body Soul Vibration Trainers.
This type of vibration is also known as 'Whole-Body-
Vibration' (WBV) where, if utilised correctly, the whole
body vibrates. The vibration emanating from the pedestal
and conducted throughout the body stimulates muscle
fibres (Myocytes) with three times the strength of gravity,
causing the muscle fibres to contract and relax with greater
strength and speed. Such powerful muscle contractions
(when repeated with the frequency seen in WBV exercise)
increase explosive muscle strength and dramatically
enhances flexibility.
Additionally, tendons, ligaments and smaller muscle
groups such as facial & intrapelvic muscles which cannot
easily/specifically be worked out through conventional
weight training become better toned making Body Soul

throughout the body and improve circulation all with less
impact then walking making it ideal for rehabilitation of

Exercise
As an exercise machine your Body Soul should be used on
a higher speed once a day for 10 minute - emulating a 1
hour run with the potential to increase this to twice a day
once you have built up to it.
Rehabilitation
For rehabilitation we recomend 2-3 times a day on a lower
speed as per instructions that come with your Body Soul.
